It's been a long three years but the Canadian Women's Open is finally back on the LPGA schedule.

The last time this event was held, we had no idea what COVID-19 was. That was back in 2019 when Jin Young Ko won this event by five shots over Canada's favorite daughter Brooke Henderson. But now Jin Young is #1 in the Rolex Rankings and Brooke is coming off her second major win, and the fans are revved up to finally have their second favorite game in the whole world back in action.
Perhaps the biggest news about the field is that Danielle Kang will be teeing it up for the first time since taking time off after the US Women's Open to deal with a back tumor.
GC's live coverage begins Thursday morning at 9:30am ET. We're heading into the home stretch for the ladies now with only seven North American events (counting this week's Canadian event, of course) before the Tour begins globe-hopping down the stretch to the CME Group Tour Championship.
